They just got their charter a month ago. They were originally denied the charter by their HQ. Greek Life had originally voted to allow them to colonize and have a final vote to see wether they would stay. The Greek advisor got rid of this stipulation since they knew they would not be voted on. A couple of them are decent guys. The majority are self-centered pricks. Many of the sorority girls don't like them since they're the typical jocks, even though most of them are washed up.

They just seem to be less involved than they used to be in every aspect of Greek life

They are the "athletic" fraternity on campus. You could probably consider them top tier and they are well known. They have some good guys that really make an impact around the area, but they neglect the sororities for some reason. Pike needs to do a better job with public relations if they want to stay at the top.

Funny how some one not in Pike knows what goes on with them...pretty low to start rumors if you ask me. For the record, Pike at JU was never denied by their HQ- not sure where that came from? Once voted onto campus by the other greeks as a colony, no one in Greek Life ever had any say over whether Pike chartered besides school officials...And having several All-Americans in our chapter makes up for several "washed up" athletes.
