why?

Why is it so hard for the fraternities here to NOT HAZE??? All it does is makes the general student population hate you! Not to mention if you know ANYTHING about the human brain -even the basics- you would know hazing is totally counterproductive!!!!! It can cause depression, anxiety, distrust of other brothers, PTSD, and accidental deaths because people think its funny to torture people with things like ice water!

Im so sick of the fact that freshman have to FEAR trying to get into a fraternity! Its NOT right and NOT acceptable! If this was the real world, you WOULD be arrested for things like assault, wrongful imprisonment, etc.

The organization yoh REPRESENT does NOT allow it and you DO NOT get to choose if you are allowed to do it! If you want a fraternity that allows it, startyour own fraternity. 100% new because all current ones do not allow it and its against the law!!

We should have an environment people feel comfortable in and WANT to join! Not have people saying, "Stay away from Sigma Chi because they force their pledges to sleep in a basement for a week and they can't leave." Thats despicable and horrible. You are a human being not an animal. ACT LIKE ONE.

You can be an awesome close party hard fraternity without hazing! Theres ZERO reason for it! You are just begging your fraternity to get kicked off eventually!!!

Stop being idiots and get your heads out of your ass!!!!!

And current/future pledges: if they haze you. Its NOT worth it. Report them.
