If I have a cousin that was a part of Chi Omega at Michigan State University, does that give me any advantage during rush?

Being a legacy doesn't guarantee you a spot, but it does help depending on the chapters! Some chapters immediately let any legacy in, some highly consider, and some barely consider it at all. The only advantage it might give you is towards the chapter your cousin was apart of. So chi omega might highly consider you over others because you are a legacy. But this isn't the south and recruitment is definitely not as wild as big chapters over there, so i'm sure you'll figure out exactly where you'll fit in and you won't need to be a legacy to get you into a chapter.
