Everyone in phi mu bullies each other. Sisterhood is a joke!! Literally everyone hates each other! Don’t let this ‘on the rise’ chapter fool you, trash.

Phi Mu is the sorority on the rise at Kent. I have many friends in this chapter and Phi Mu made me feel so comfortable during recruitment. The girls are so genuine and welcoming. Once I got into deeper and more personal conversations, I realized this chapter was such an amazing place to be. If you're looking for a fun time with some fantastic girlies at Kent State, go Phi Mu.

Through recruitment, this was the only sorority that I genuinely felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome in. One of the girls I talked to did not start any conversation, so it felt like I was pulling teeth to get any words out of her mouth. Aren't recruiters supposed to be trained on how to talk to people? Lol. On top of that, the girl was blatantly LAUGHING at me. Not with me, AT ME. For trying to start conversation because she wouldn't? I know this review is biased and I'm positive there are great girls in the chapter. Pro tip: If you are trying to recruit, have recruiters be nice and welcoming, not judgemental, which is the experience I had :) Puts a bad taste in people's mouths.

Really nice fun girls. New but growing in the ranks. They are genuine & not mean or judgmental like some others can be.

Phi Mu is a sorority on the rise. I am in a different chapter but after hearing that my friends in Phi Mu are having so much fun I want to be a sister. There are a bunch of different personalities in the sorority and this year their main focus has been improving sister. My friends are so much happier in the chapter now and I’m just so excited for them. Props to you Phi Mus because your hard work is really paying off

every chapter has to have rules about living in their chapter house along with consequences for not living in. When members join any house, they are agreeing to certain membership requirements and most, if not all chapters ask members to live in the house as part of those requirements. Some houses are easier to fill than others and chapters might not have to resort to "punishments", but it's probably in every chapter's bylaws that it can happen.

So here's the thing... I was a sister for 2.5 years. I dropped because I couldn't afford it with my dad having cancer and me constantly having to be home. Not only is my dad dying in a few weeks, but I have not heard a single thing from ANY of the sisters since I've dropped. Even before I had dropped, nobody had any concern for me and my family. I know they're going to be mad at me for this and send me multiple texts/come after me, but in the end, it doesn't matter, because the fact that I'm sitting here at home 2-3 weeks out of every month hearing my dad is going to die from doctors and not hearing a single thing from them proves how they really are and how much they really "care" about each other. I was there for every single one of them. I loved Phi Mu with my entire heart until I didn't anymore. Things change and people change. Unfortunately, Phi Mu will never change.
