Sigma Chi was the place to be my freshman year. But now they're totally irrelevant. I don't see them trying hard at ANY greek events. And frankly, no one cares about Derby Days anymore.

This frat is cool AF! They're great to get a long with and always welcoming new people. Sure they don't have a house, YET.. But having a house doesn't mean you are not a fraternity. They're botherhood is so much stonger than compared to most. They've been coming together to get on campus and still have the drive and work together to go against all the people putting them down and saying they'll never be a "true" fraternity.

Just like PIKE SAE is a colony, and until they earn their charter they should not be looked on as a real Greek organization. They did well in grades, but their numbers are very small, and they will need to make big changes to please the national fraternity and its Southern attitudes in terms of the True Gentleman initiative, and the attitudes of some of the colony members.

This chapter is tanking fast. When I got to campus they were the biggest chapter by far, no one could touch them. Then this fall rush they get less than 10 guys? Rough. They used to have brothers who were very involved on campus and could make up for some dumb mistakes of others, which every fraternity makes. Now they just try to copy TFM as much as possible and pour their money into off brand preppy clothing because they've been told is the "fratty" thing to do. Buncha try hards.

The comments about DU running the show are premature to say the least. With maybe 20 members they are in the bottom third of fraternities and are mainly upperclassmen. I was here when they were top dog, but they are a shell of the former chapter, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

These guys are always a good time, I always feel really welcome when I'm over at the house. They by far have the funnest parties, and it's nice to see them getting back into campus involvement.
