It just depends on what you want in a sorority and what you're like. Phi Mu is usually thought to be best with Alpha Xi in second.
Phi Mu is the gorgeous blonde southern girls
Alpha Xi is the really chill hipster girls
AOII is the party girls
Zeta is more serious/strict/stuck up
DZ is the sweet super religious girls

Phi Mu is a great group of girls. However, when it comes to recruiting they rely on their name. Zeta does the same thing but Phi Mu isn't fake. As far as recruitment AOII and Alpha Xi are kicking ass this year. Alpha Xi doesn't get as much attention as they deserve though because they aren't as popular but I feel like a change is going to happen this year. More girls are wanting to join the chill down to earth type of sororities. Zeta is dropping. Alpha Xi climbing. Phi Mu relying on their name. And AOII still doing good in recruitment. If you took the letters away what sorority would the girls join? That's how you have to look at it. You don't want them joining for a name but a sisterhood.

It depends on what you look at. All the sororities are great. If your a pnm the ranks on this site should not be a factor in your decision. Phi mu is popular and has sweet southern girls, AOPI has sweet fun athletic girls, AXiD has laid back real girls, ZTA has some of the sweetest girls I have met, and DZ has diverse sweet girls. It doesn't matter who is top ir bottom they will have something negative to say, but we should focus on each groups positive qualities. Pan love!
