Fall recruitment you basically visit all the houses for like a half hour and have a conversation with a girl you are paired with randomly and you narrow down each day the houses you like, at the same time the houses are narrowing down the girls they like so if you like kappa but they didnt like you you wouldnt go back to kappa.. its a mutual selection.

some houses to informal rush and they are different with each chapter, usually you would jsut attend a sisterhood like event and talk to some girls

freshman usually dont live in the house but for some houses you can but its very hard to get out of a dorm contract

There's gonna be a recruitment fair at the IMU at the beginning of February where you can talk to guys from each chapter. Most houses will do events at their chapter houses if they have them, and at like bars and other places downtown throughout the week. Most fraternities have continuous open bidding, so if you express an interest in a particular house just get in contact with their recruitment chair and they should be able to help you out.

For frats with houses, its typical you live in your sophomore year.
