Death of Greek life.
by: IFC
The university, starting in the fall semester 2022, will require new chapters or chapters seeking re-establishment on campus to restrict the ability to obtain a chapter house within the first five years.
With this rule when a chapter is removed it could take them up to 10 years to get back in their houses. This will cause chapters who own houses and are removed to be long term land lords or sell.
With this rule it will be interesting if chapters looking to come back follow acacia and not be affiliated with the university to avoid this rule.

SIG EP'r from comment 2 - no need to hijack my nickname. Most nationals won't let their houses be affiliated with non-IFC schools. It's all about risk and most nationals want a school-level organization being the first level of supervision. It might work for weaker national orgs like Acacia but not for the larger houses like SigEp. If you want to discuss and your actually a brother head up to the 3rd floor

Are you joking? Sig nu, kappa sig, d chi, sae, phi delt, acacia, sig chi, pike have all been kicked off in just 3 years. Yes some did things to justify getting kicked off, but this is just a blatant attack on greek life. If you dont think your house is next you’re naive
