I was just wondering what the reason is for DZ being a bottom house and if it could ever change? I want to make my mom happy but I also don’t want to be in a bottom house where I am not happy.

Honestly, i know a few girls in DZ, and they’re just a different kind of bunch. They have every kind of girl you can think of and actually seem really close. Their house is definitly turning around for the better with their last 2 recruitment classes. Some people really like DZ and others don’t at all. Don’t let what others tell you impact your decision. When you rush, you’ll feel out the house and meet the ladies to see if you’re a good match. Make your decision then.

Join the house thats right for you. Your mom was already in a sorority she had her time its your turn to find the house thats right for you. If the right house for you is DZ then go DZ if it isn't then don't force it just to make your mom happy. I was a legacy to two different sororities and ended up joining neither and I am as happy as can be :)
