by: freshmanI'll be rushing in the fall as an incoming freshman and my high school gpa is a 2.5 so will I not get into a house because of that? I hear some sororities don't even check gpa's so is that true?

Some do and some don't. Some have a requirement for high school GPA but many don't, so yes your options are more limited than someone with a high GPA but if that high GPA isn't the kind of person you are then consider that house not the best fit for you as they often have higher college GPA requirements as well

^^^some houses cut for gpa immediately on round one. Be prepared for some houses to cut you on it, but some will still invite you back, your impression is more important than gpa to the houses that matter
