frat tiers/stereotypes

by:

I am interested in rushing this fall, but I don't know much about the frats at Iowa. What are the tiers and stereotypes associated with each frat?

Don't be fooled by stereotypes anonymous people tell you on the internet, rush in the fall and meet all the houses. Go with the one you feel most comfortable with, after all it is a brotherhood and on th e average you'll spend 2 years living with these people and they'll be a part of your life for decades.

Anyways, houses on the East side tend to be bigger in numbers, the ones in the previous comment goes from 80-120 members sometimes they dont even know each other or care to. Beta and LXA are the worst frats on the East. On the West you have PhiPsi with also over 100 members, then Frat circle has FIJI, DX and DU, also TKE and PiKapp but they're loosing their houses in the fall? These houses tend to be smaller 50-90 and they party harder because their houses aren't on the main street.

The most important thing is to know WHY you want to be in a fraternity, any fraternity. Once you know that find the org that has that and that you like most.\n\n\n\n\n
