We have chapter meetings every Sunday (or Monday for some chapters) every week for usually an hour. Sometimes they can last longer than that. After that and mandatory things such as philanthropy events, you can be involved or uninvolved as you like. Although, you will get more out of the sorority the more involved you are!

Pretty much what the person said above. Besides chapter, I know they have study hours, philanthropy work (things of that nature). Besides that you get a lot more freedom than if you were pledging a fraternity which is a much bigger time commitment during whatever semester it is, however less than half the frats here have an actual pledgeship though.
