Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at University of Iowa - UI 1.9 Their brotherhood is alright, but they really don't hang with anyone and their parties aren't great, just a lot of guys together. Not super cute, but maybe they'll turn things around this year. Nothing great to report so far, though

Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at University of Iowa - UI 2.0 Last edit of Charles II of Spain's death on wikipedia: Toward the end of his life Charles's fragile health deteriorated and he became increasingly hypersensitive and strange, at one point demanding that the bodies of his family be exhumed so he could look upon the corpses. He officially retired when he had a nervous breakdown caused by the amount of pressure put on him to try to pull Spain out of the economic trouble it was going through. He lived a simple life from then on, playing games and engaging in other activities. He died in Madrid on 1 November 1700 (the 39th death anniversary of his immediate elder brother), five days before his 39th birthday. The physician who performed his autopsy stated that his body "did not contain a single drop of blood; his heart was the size of a peppercorn; his lungs corroded; his intestines rotten and gangrenous; he had a single testicle, black as coal, and his head was full of water."[12] Ameri can historians Will and Ariel Durant described Charles II as "short, lame, epileptic, senile, and completely bald before 35, he was always on the verge of death, but repeatedly baffled Christendom by continuing to live."[10]

Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at University of Iowa - UI 3.2 I used to love Beta, but looking back on it, they are really just a place for people who can't get into other frats. They don't do much but smoke a lot of weed and drink busch lights. Their brotherhood is up there with the best of them, but it's because they all have the same perspective of college. They respect women from what I've seen, but their parties are sausage fests. Just all around average.

Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at University of Iowa - UI 3.4 Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.
