I'm transfering to OSU next semester and want to check out SAE. I know they are big in the south but how are they here?

SAE here is a middle tier frat, probably around 6/7th best. They have some cool dudes, also some goobers. They have a heavy social calendar, as well as a high price per semester

People aren't hating on them. Greek life isn't that huge here so if you're not a top 5 house (and even in the top 5 there are huge distinctions) you're not really socially relevant. I'm sure SAE has good dudes but in terms of 'how they are' here at osu, they're not a relevant chapter.

Honestly check out the fraternities for yourself, I personally know guys who absolutely love Fiji, Phi Psi, TKE, SAE, etc. and wouldn't want to join elsewhere.

People on this site act like if you're not in Phi Psi or the equivalent sororities that you're some socially inept monster lol.
