When generally might fraternities start recruiting for the autumn semester after the current pledge classes are initiated? I'm a freshman and decided to wait until the first semester of my sophomore year to pledge, but want to know when it's fine to start reaching out to fraternities

If you're looking for top tier start reaching out to them this semester. Otherwise you'll be fine waiting till next semester

Towards the end. Everyone just finished recruitment. They don't want to think about it for awhile
