by: pnmAGD vs. Tri delt... whats the difference between them and which do you guys prefer? whose more social? Couldn't really get a read on them during rush.

they attract very similar girls. i know that there are a lot of friend groups that include girls in both houses. they hang out with similar fraternities. agd is known for getting "sloppy" drunk but ive honestly never encountered that. agd probably is known for having more girls that go out a lot, and tri delt has a mix of both nonpartiers and partiers. tri delt has a better national reputation. overall, not many differences and you would be lucky to be invited back to pref for either! good luck :)

Like the above poster says, they pretty much attract the same type of girls and members from the 2 chapters do things together all the time. Both are very competitive in grades (I think both have chapter GPAs over 3.5) but aren't known as being dull. AGD's reputation of being big partiers is as blown out of proportion as Pi Phi all being ditzy. You can't go wrong with either DDD or AGD so pick who you like the best.
