Depends. You could get a sophmore or a junior that doesn't have a little yet.

My big also rushed as a sophomore so she was a junior when she got me, it just kind of worked out. But yes, there's a chance you could get a sophomore as your big and even someone younger than you! It's not about being "older", it's about finding someone you can bond with and look up to
