So I really want a top chapter and right now I still have all 3/4 (if you consider a phi as top). I had a full schedule and was able to drop the lowest 3 chapters. Does it look like I'll get a top tier bid?

The fact that you're worried about the name and not joining the perfect sorority for you is going to kill you. You'll get booted because they can tell when you're in it for the name.

alpha phi is not considered top tier. but other than that, you prob have a good chance with pi phi, dg, or theta

I had all top chapters before 3rd round. Alpha phi dropped me no biggie. So there is potential that all the top can drop you. Get back to us on Sat. and hopefully you'll be happy. But you can if you have a cute personality and are a sincere person.

I had all top left and a full schedule. What are the odds of getting a bid from one at this point?

If you maximize your options after pref round, you're guaranteed a bid. Might not be from your #1 choice, but you will get a bid. So if you attend 3 at pref, and write down 3, you get a bid. Attend 2, write 2, get a bid. Attend 1, write 1, get a bid.

If you don't write down all your houses, you have a chance of not getting a bid.

That is so lame. Just because one might be "top" here does not mean it will be like 5 years from now or at another college.

Don't make any assumptions until you see your schedule this Saturday. Those top tier chapters could have dropped you after philanthropy and you don't know yet

Nothing is set. Even though top chapters cut heaviest on the first round it definitely does not guarantee you a bid. You still have two more rounds left sweetie

There's really no way of knowing. when I went through, on the second round I only had 7 chapters and only one was top and I only had "bottoms" and a few "lower mids" other than that. I got a bid. Another girl in my rush group though had a full day of invites second day with all the top tiers. She ended up in a lower mid chapter. Which there is absolutely nothing wrong with
