by: Rush successBecause rounds with cuts are starting, I just want to remind everyone that the umber of invites you get back does NOT determine how "successful" your rush is. There will be girls who got 6 invites today who end up in pi phi or theta and there will also be girls with a full list who end up in dz or aopi. As long as there is at least one house left that you could see yourself in, you are SUCCEEDING. Please remember that it only takes one house!

All chapters are good.... Just because the prettiest girls on campus dropped you doesn't mean they're the only good ones here

A true rho gam would have never named dropped. There is nothing wrong with bottom tier houses, and girls should be lucky to get a bid from them just as much as if they got a bid from the top tiers. Because guess what, the bottom tiers don't have to take them, or want the pnms either. A pnm could get no bid at all and be dropped before pref round completely. Sad but true.

Recruitment is cutthroat. Especially now that we have more quality PNMs going through every year, and KKG was kicked off campus (I say this because numbers wise we lost an additional 60+ spots for girls going through rush). And you're right, even bottom chapters cut people quite frankly. I know a lot of girls who just didn't end up with a bid at all. Sisterhood round is where you have the sororities that are actually interested in you as a member, so girls should expect to get dropped from a few houses they liked. And really, everyone fits in different chapters - not every girl is going to even want a "top tier".
