backups
by: SeniorFor guys rushing, please have a backup. As you can tell some fraternities are competitive. Top tiers pledge classes are already decided. SAE and Delt are the next two competitive. If you are not close with many brothers, received a bid or have been invited out, it may be time to move on and look for your backup before it is too late. Do not only rush fraternities of the same competitiveness (Delt, SAE, Kappa Sig) unless you are confident you will get into one.

I would say about 1/3 of a PC is for sure known before rush because of last semester hanging out, and then another 1/3 is guys that you had met and didnt know too well but it ended up working out. The last 1/3 is usually rush finds. But it is true, the top 4-5 houses probably already have their bid lists done

their rising fast, and very well could be there by the end of the semester, depending on how rush turns out. they've been getting a lot of hate on this site lately

They've gotten better I'll admit but they're still in the mid category. They're marginally better than pike, phi delt and ato and stuff but they're still not breaking the "upper house" plane quite yet. At least not to me
