is there room for all of the new pc's to live in?

For most houses, do the new pledge classes get to live in next year? Just thinking about housing next year if I get a bid.

I'm not sure about all houses but majority will ask the current members if they want to live in after that whatever is left over can be filled with the new pledge class. Pledge class sizes are most likely going to increase this year and houses aren't going to be able to hold every single person that wants to live in.

Usually the houses have many current actives living in as Well. Since this is the first year of STEP fraternities haven't adjusted to it yet. Housing situations for actives have already needed to be settled since leases are signed early. So most fraternities will have room, but not enough to hold a majority of the pledge class.

some places are giving up their entire chapter house for sophomores to live in while others are giving up a few rooms and still others aren't even doing step. if living off campus sophomore year is important to you, be sure to ask about it during rush.

Most houses aren't doing this which will likely make the ones that are more competitive
