pike

by: Question

Maybe it's because they have a lot of members on here but why is pike often compared to SAE and delt? In the social we had and from what I've heard from my friends they're nowhere close and kind of weirded me out. I know they used to be better so is it just reputation keeping them talked about?

Maybe other people like them more than you like them. They're also not that often compared to Delt. Personally, I don't see SAE as anywhere that much better than the other mid-tiers.

Delt is more upper middle tier. Where as the middle tier for almost everyone is SAE, Pike, and phi Delt. Delt is clearly better than those 3 chapters. But many consider those 3 chapters to all be very similar.

1. Pike is compared to SAE and Delt and Phi Delt because at the end of the day they are all generally considered mid-tier and have give or take 100+ members. Same reason when people talk about Phi Psi, Sigma Chi and TKE are inevitably brought up.

2. I guess it depends on what groups you hang out with but I rarely hear anything positive or negative about Pike. This is a personal opinion but I think the other mid-tier fraternities might be a little better with sorority relations.

Pike now has 80 active members and phi delt has even less. This is where generalizations and stereotypes have people believing wrong things

I don't see how Delt is "clearly better" than Phi Delt or Sae. I would say they are marginally better in terms of their relationship with sororities and that they are honestly stuck in a rut where they will never be top tier.
