Idk about zta but I agree with the others! Agd has def been getting prettier and more fun. Pi phi is phi phi so you know they will slay. Gphi is so down to earth and has been improving so much so fast! KD has totally stepped up recruitment! They have a new vibe and are pulling some amazing classes

new chapters can never really start out great. even if like half the girls are amazing you're going to get people that dropped out of formal because they we're cut from the houses they wanted etc. You just can't expected a new house to come out mid tier even straight off the bat.

Also a friend of mine at OU joined their colony chapter there and they have some really pretty girls but also a lot of awkward girls as well the Nationals picked to make their house well rounded. It will probably be a similar outcome here in my opinion

How did your friend join a colony chapter there when Gamma Phi just colonized there this year? ZTA would be an established sorority there and it's not...

My friend joined their gphi colony you idiot. But most colonies are the same. Nationals will recruit a wide range of girls that sometimes doesn't mesh to be well rounded. Like they have your typical sorority girls, girls you would never think are interested, and everything in between. There's no uniting factor.

After Formal Recruitment, Total will be around 200. So hypothetically they take 30 Kappas babies. That leaves 170 of whatever -- a mixture who you can't classify. The result will be a lot of cliques, where the Kappa babies continue to only socialize with each other and the other 170 wondering who they hell they think they are.

I really think the KKG babies will go with Zeta. Look at it this way, they are still a very tight group of girls. And while it's true they can remain friends and not join another house, I'm sure they are all aware that being in greek life is far better than not being in it-even though Ohio State doesn't have a huge greek community, they've already been exposed to it. So their options would be to join another top house (I certainly don't think they would want a middle tier house) which would inevitably separate a lot of them. OR--go Zeta. I agree with Zeta Kappas post that it would be a weird mix of girls, but I can see it happening.

I agree to an extent. Kappas are all about social status so I agree they wouldn't want a middle or bottom tier house. But you are forgetting that zeta is going to be a bottom tier house also. Since it's new and everything...so it wouldn't make a difference

A lot of kappas PC has been disrespectful throughout this whole process that I can see them wanting to join zeta as a joke...like "hey look at us taking over a new house" kind of thing. Plus do you really think Pi Phi or Theta will take THAT many upperclassmen? They won't. And those are the only 2 top houses that I can see Kappa babies wanting to join. I don't see them in DG or Aphi. Zeta is their only option if they want their group together.

That is, IF Zeta will take all of them. I'm pretty sure the team recruiting for Zeta knows who they are and their reputation. They've been on campus long enough to know. Will Zeta take some? Yes. All? Nope! Some of the Kappa Babies may come up empty.

Even though they've been disrespectful, don't act like you would be thrilled if your house was kicked off campus. A lot of houses here have been put on so pro the past few years and if you've had your experience with that, don't act like you all took it well
