It doesn't matter what year you are, if the guys like you and you fit in you will get a bid.

Huge disadvantage... Not the end of the world but no large houses would bid you for 3 semesters, they build pledge classes for 5-7 semesters of activity

PIKE and SAE aren't as "selective" as the "top tier" ones, so it's a better shot.

I am looking for mid tier, the top tier doesn't appeal to me after I looked at them. I already checked out pike in the fall and didn't really like them. Wasn't my place. I'm planning on checking out SAE, Phi delt, ATO and maybe sig ep now.

SAE and ATO are good places. Phi Delt may be hard to get a bid because they usually take only like sub-20 people a semester where other houses take upwards of 35+. As for Sig ep... There's a reason they have the name "club ep".

none of these frats would take a junior, this is just a kappa sig trying to look good. Nice.

Its a small disadvantage. Basically if it comes down to you and a couple other guys for the final bid, the younger guy is gonna get it.

It won't affect you for any houses lower than Delt most likely, since most of the times these houses take whoever fits in, since they need numbers more

Not really a big deal. If you have a good personality and are a good fit for the chapter you should be fine especially if you're considering the mid tier
