frats and gpa

by:

I've heard girls talk about how GPA can help/hurt their chance at a sorority. I was wondering if fraternities care about GPA at all. Are there some that care more than others? Or do they all really only care if you have whatever that chapter has as a minimum?

Some chapters care about gpa. Most do actually because if a frat has to low of grades, they could get put on probation until they get it up, and obviously no one wants that.

As long as you have the chapter minimum you're fine.

tke's gpa isnt nearly as bad as it was 2-3 years ago. It's above a 3.0 . You can find every chapter's average gpa online.

It's called ghosting. TKE got in trouble for a low GPA and the next semester it went from a 2.8 to a 3.2. Meanwhile their members went from 100 to 70

Maybe academically focused fraternities like Sig Ep would care if you had a low GPA. Overall no, fraternities don't care as long as you can meet the minimum GPA requirement.

club ep is the only one that cares. as long as youre eligible to rush it doesnt matter that much to most chapters. most chapters here care about who you actually are as a person because theyre bidding you to hangout for 4 years, not bidding a gpa,.
