They are not selective. A bunch of the older guys are really weird and apparently they had a lot brothers drop last year which is never a good sign. Some of the younger guys are okay. Socially, not many girls like them as a whole but I know some girls who like individual pikes.

Pike is one of the middle tier fraternities around campus. They don't have the best parties they don't have the best intramurals they don't have the best philanthropy. All of the middle tier frats (PIKE, SAE, Delt, Phi Delt) are all super well rounded and good at everything but not great at anything. My sisters and I personally prefer Delt over the others but we always have a blast with any of the middle tiers. All 4 of those chapters are on the rise and have grown massively over the past few years so if you are thinking of rushing you need to look at those 4.

I would say delt and SAE are above the others listed. I would put pike at the same level as phi delt, ATO and Aepi. All will most likely improve in the near future

pike is notorious for self ranking on this site so take what you read with a grain of salt. They are realistically a lower mid fraternity that is trying to become mid. Me and my friends personally don't think they are fun at all but that's our opinion

I went to pikes formal a couple of years ago and it was a blast. I additionally have some friends in their chapter. They are seriously sweethearts. Yeah people call them middle tier but they have genuinely nice guys in their chapter
