delt or sae?

SAE-irrelevant.

First of all go check out and talk to the guys yourself. Secondly, you can't "choose between" fraternities before you get a bid at both. You can say you like one, but don't decide on one until they decide on you.

Delt is infinitely better than Sae.

Delt is pretty upper mid/ pretty close to top tier. They're a part of the "big 5" for frats.
There is a huge gab between Delt and Sae.

Anyone who tells you Delt is "infinitely" better than SAE is delusional. Delt is a solid upper mid tier chapter and I would say they have an edge on social reputation on SAE. However, Delt in no way is part of a "big five" for fraternities lol Top tier includes PKP, TKE, Sig Chi and potentially Kappa Sig depending on who you talk to. Delt might have more TG's with the top tier but that's about the only difference between them and SAE social wise, it's not like Pi Phi or Alpha Phi or DG is all about hanging with Delt. I would say both tend to recruit genuinely "nice guys" as opposed to other large fraternities. I would check out both chapters for yourself and form your own opinion if your'e interested.

I agree with "truth", but Delt was hyping up their first block back to be sick this weekend against Minnesota and personally, I thought SAE's was far more turnt

Delt has more of a "nice guy" rep, SAE has more of a "party" rep. Don't get me wrong, delt has decent events too, but girls go to delt to talk to boys vs. go to SAE to drink with boys. I personally like Delt more but I have more fun at SAE. This probably wasn't helpful at all.

Delt will give u bottles of vodka to run around with whereas SAE already has pre-measured shots to hand out. That's the difference
