The first 5 will give the most

The last 4 will give some but not as many as those above. You will still need to bring your A game to get a bid here. All of these chapters care about their grades and involvment. While some are more social than others, theywill cut awkward girls. Typically not as hot as top tier but all have cute girls.

If I'm not awkward, have a 3.6 & involvement in clubs, and bring my a game, do I have a shot?

yes of course! chio & tridelt are the toughest on grades (of those 4 houses), but you should be fine as long as you get along well with the girls

do you think a 3.6 is a good gpa for rushing? I don't know what the average gpa students rushing at osu have

What about for juniors?

You will have a tough time getting a bid from a middle tier. There are exceptions but these 4 chapters really aren't interested in Juniors.

Bottom tier do take Juniors.

Juniors: you will probably only have a chance at a middle tier house if you know girls in that house and they are really pulling for you.

Sophomores: you really need to look at the chapter GPA. Middle tiers will rarely take a Sophomore too far lower than their chapter GPA. Even though you only need a 2.5 to go through recruitment and the chapter GPA is 2.8, they really aren't looking for girls with a 2.81.

But what if you have a 3.7 gpa and literally 500+ total hours for organizations you volunteer for?

honestly, it'll still be really hard. Gpa and service hours aren't the only things houses look at

Even the sororities with the highest grade point averages only care about grades to a certain extent, you have to be normal and fit in with them or they won't care about your volunteering/grades
