rushing as a transfer..
by: Buckeye?I'm thinking of transferring to Ohio state to be closer to my family. I rushed a sorority this fall at my school, I'm not initiated yet, so if I transferred to osu next semester, could I still rush in the spring?

A lot of girls in the South will sign bid cards, get a chapter they don't want and then transfer and rush again.
Here is what the NPC Manual states:
"When a woman who has been pledged but not yet initiated transfers to another campus, her pledge is broken, and she is eligible to pledge an NPC sorority on that campus at the earliest opportunity."

Contact PHA and ask, I think the 1 year thing only applies to the campus you signed your pref card at. But the national Panhellenic conference keeps track of these things, so that's how they would find out
