rush and parties

Saturday I went to parties trying to rush and I told several different houses that i was interested in pledging. (which i am) The only one that let me through the gate was Alpha Gamma Rho. I do not understand why i wasn't allowed in. I was very mature about requesting admittance...

You can't just show up to parties and say you want in. If you want to go to the parties, you should contact the recruitment chairs and meet the guys sober first. At parties, you are a liability and seen as a member, so they have to know you before they let you in.
