Is it possible for an out- of-state girl to get into a top sorority? Im not saying I only care about being "top", but I'm definetly interested in the ones considered "top" I guess you could say.

Being out of state won't hurt you at all during rush. I'm in a "top" sorority and at least half of my pledge class is out of state.

This isn't the SEC-you don't get dinged because you happen to be a Yankee or from another state. They don't care. Only difference is that you are a total unknown, whereas in state girls probably know members in the sororities because they knew them or had friends in common in high school. That can be a plus or a minus. Don't sweat it. But don't be an idiot girl who will only look at certain sororities, you are setting your self up for possible disappointment.
