Go through recruitment. If you are invited back to House tours, you will get to see the houses you are invited to. You can make a decision from there; or the chapter will make it for you by cutting you.
Not only do you need to evaluate which have the nicest houses, you will need to decide if you want to live on the sleeping porch or in a regular room. Many girls hate the sleeping porch concept.

Live-In Policy:
Each chapter has different live-in requirements for their members. Some require every member to live in one or two years. Other houses just require certain officers to live in and the remaining beds are filled by other members of the house. EVERY CHAPTER IS DIFFERENT.

STEP: Starting this year, students are required to live on campus at least a year. All sororities are either approved or in the process of being approved to allow members satisfy their 2nd year living requirement by living in the chapter houses. Fraternities can't qualify because they allow alcohol in the house

Sleeping porches: This is a massive dormer where all the members sleep. They typically have separate, smaller rooms to study and to keep their clothes. Tri Delt has a sleeping porch.
