top tiers/kappa babies

It could go either way depending on the girls who are going through recruitment. I'm not a Kappa and don't have many friends who were in that PC but I'm not sure they are all going to want to join "top houses" after what happened. Then again, I guess if they went Kappa in the first place they might want the title of being in a top house. It's going to be hard though, because if they are doing recruitment again it will be during winter...and "top houses" usually give most bids to freshmen and maybe just a few bids to sophomores..and usually those girls who get those bids have strong connections within the house.

from knowing a lot of the pc15 kappas, I know that many of them are uncertain about whether or not they are rerushing and those that do plan on it already have a pretty firm idea of which house they want. Most of the kappa babies have pretty strong connections already in other top houses, and I know that several of them are planning on going dg or pi phi. I think the fact that they have already rushed kappa could both help and hurt them. While it may be hard to convince chapters to take them knowing that kappa was originally their first pick, many of them know girls in other top houses that will be able to vouch for them during rush.

I think theta would like to think that the kappa babies will head their way due to the whole classy stereotype however I'd think the kappa babies would go pi phi or dg, over theta but I don't really see any of them going alpha phi.

kappas have a LOT of strong connections with top tier girls so if that's really all they were looking for in a house, it would easily be achievable.

True, they do have those connections, BUT remember... a house like Pi Phi is arguably the top house right now (interchangeable with maybe DG) so while they are friends with former Kappas, I'm sure they also want their pick of the new freshmen PNMs as well. And honestly....I really think people are over estimating the number of Kappas that will be going through recruitment this winter. Kappa was their home and they all have strong connections with their former sisters. While I think some may rush, I don't think it will be as many as this site makes it seem.

I think a lot of the Kappa babies come across like damaged goods. Some of the top-tier may not want them.
