a lot of girls mingle with other houses. I will be a sophomore this fall and I'm in what this website calls a "bottom tier" house, but the entire school year/this whole summer I hungout with my good friends I met in the dorms who are all in middle tier and upper tier houses (again, per this website). I never felt left out or excluded. This website is the only place that tries to do that. Our social calendars are different but if you keep an open mind during rush you will end up in the right house for you and make connections with awesome women in many houses :) good luck!

Like said before, it really doesn't matter what sorority you're in. However, I do think that some sororities tend to branch out more than others. For example, I know a lot of pi phis, dg's, and kappas (rip) always intermingled but it seemed like alpha phi and theta stuck to themselves for the most part. But that's just a generalization and somewhat of a personal observation. If you don't allow your letters to limit you, they won't.
