Since Kappa is done, are we going to add another sorority? It seems like all the houses are pretty much full so what happens next?

Sororities will most likely have larger pledge classes next year in comparison to recent years. That's due to not only kkg but the fact that more girls have been rushing. PHA are having discussions about colonizing a new sorority. I've heard phi mu and a few others were interested

I have heard PHA is looking at 2017 for a new chapter. Not sure how this will work if Kappa petitions to come back then. I would rather see a recolonization like Zeta or Phi Mu that a return of Kappa.

At the very least Gamma Phi has proven that a new chapter can work at OSU. I'd much rather see a colony than Kappa return.

Kappa's rep is pretty much ruined for as long as there are still people here who were here when they got shut down for hazing.

PHA can add a new chapter after gamma phi does 2(? Maybe 3) years of formal recruitment. So yes, they're looking for an extension. And recruitment for that chapter could start the day after formal bid day, much like gamma phi did. Most likely they'll look at phi mu since it was between them and gamma phi, and maybe zeta, sdt, and adpi as they've all been here before

Extension recruitment for a new sorority will be in spring of 17 and the return of kappa in spring of 18 so long as their petition is accepted.
