not a DZ. But I have friends in DZ who are very lovely ladies, so yes I feel the need to defend them. Sorry if that bothers you. I know you prob don't have a life outside of your sorority, so you have to self rank!

I dislike a lot of their policies about making so much mandatory. But some girls like it, it does achieve a sense of sisterhood. They do NOT haze, which is great. I just wanted to do a lot more things in college. But keep an open mind during rush. In spite of what others say a) DZ is on the rise, they have raised their recruitment standards and their gpas b) every DZ I knew would not consider joining most other sororities c) they truly thing the world of each other .

all houses make cuts, it's not up to any house which girls come back, it's all about ranking

pha forces houses to invite girls back to fill up the parties as much as possible. If not a lot of girls rank them high enough, they'll get back girls that they ranked the lowest... which is usually what happens
