alpha omicron pi discussion

my rho gam a couple years ago was an AOPi and most of our group guessed she was a Theta or a Tri Delt, so it's hard for me to understand the need to stereotype these girls so poorly. I've had nothing but great encounters with AOPi girls.

We made great strides when I was there but I'm happy to be gone and no longer consider most of these women my sisters because of the way they have treated me.

Great Job to the Chi Epsilon Chapter on a stellar preformance for the first week of formal recruitment. You all stood out in a positive way and looked fabulous at both rounds!

I'm going to have to agree with "GONE". I actually looked forward to leaving when I was still in the house. I'm happy to be gone.

With that attitude, I am sure they could not wait for you to leave as well. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch.

I actually left because of the attitude in the house and bullying. It had nothing to do with my attitude. I just can't support an organization who looked the other way while a girl was being treated badly in their own house.

I'm an alum of this sorority and I can honestly say I had some of the most amazing college experiences in it. My sisters (and many of the girls i know in every sorority on campus) are caring, intellegent, driven, beautfilu people on the inside and out and dont deserve the hate they get on this website (and nobody does). I'm sorry you were unhappy, but clearly you lack the social grace to confront those directly involved and instead come to an annonymous website to bash girls who were probably your friends, so I honestly doubt you leaving the house was a big loss. I have seen them grow and change over the past few years and I'm nothing but proud to be associated with these women.

Thats great that you had a good experience but to completely discount her like that is rude and ignorant. I'm not an aopi but I know some girls in it and based off them, I'm not too shocked by her story.
