legacy
by: ZTAI am a freshman and I didn't rush this year. But will rush next year I know that ZTA use to have a house at OSU and wondered if anyone has heard if they will ever come back to Ohio State or how does that happen? I'm a legacy and would love to be a part of to carry on the legacy

ZTA still owns their house but right now, PHA has not opened up to another extension. If they do, Zeta will need to determine if they and interested and PHA will determine select which sororities they want to present. When Gamma Phi presented, Phi Mu was the only other sorority that did.

OP, even if an extension was voted on, and ZTA won, it would still be a few years until they would make it back on campus, so you could conceivably be a senior or have graduated at that point. There are a number of wonderful sororities here now, so that would be your best bet if you are interested in Greek life. BTW, keep your grades up, get involved on campus, polish up that resume, and get to know some Greek women, as sophomores have a tougher, but not impossible, time going through.

AOII had their house done through home team and it looks beautiful. I'm sure gphi will be able to do much more than what you suggest. They're able to alter the house with the lease that they signed, just like AOII. And lol no way in hell ZTA would get kappas house. No new chapter would be able to support a house as nice as that. Plus kappa owns the house. They'd rather it be empty than have ztas there

ZTA most likely will never be allowed back at OSU. Not only were the whoring themselves out in that house they also killed a pledge before they were investigated for being a brothel.
As someone who served on PHA. Osu will start the extension process again next year with another chapter joining Campus in 2017. There was no deal with gamma phi either.

That's false. Gamma Phi was one of Panhellenic chapters that presented to OSU for extension. Zeta Tau Alpha was one of the 7 in the running, but they did not have a feasible housing situation at the time because AOPI occupied their house. PHA narrowed it down to a final two, Gamma Phi and Phi Mu. ZTA has taken action to prepare for the next round of extension at Ohio State. AOPI was successfully relocated, and they let Pi Kappa Alpha rent their chapter facility for the next 4 years hoping that, within that time, ZTA will be ready to come back to campus.
