how is sig chi

by: SIg Chi

What's up people, I'm going to be a freshman at OSU next year my dad was a Sigma Chi at tOSU way back in the day.

I was wondering how they are as a fraternity. The brotherhood, academic status, parties, etc.

Are they one of the top houses? I've been looking through this site and it seems people are always talking about them being on probation or having issues with IFC.

What's the deal?

They got in trouble over 2 years ago. They've been off of social suspension for almost a year. They got down to less than 40 members and have already been able to build back to over 100. I'm a senior in a sorority and can tell you pretty much all the girls in what are considered to be in "top sororities" party hop between Sig Chi, TKE, and Phi Psi. And the fact that they are in that group from were they were a few years ago is incredible. Not to mention they have one of the most awesome philanthropy events that every sorority loves to participate in. Their derby days my freshman year was probably one of the greatest weeks I've had in college. And last year's derby days was incredible too, but the plans I've heard them talking about for this year make me so excited for all new girls in my sorority. There are a few dou$chbags in the group but that's nothing you can't say about any other fraternity. And honestly its really cool to see that all their younger guys and older guys hang out and there isn't really a divide among any of them. They always have been and always will be one of the top fraternities on campus. Good luck finding your fit next year
