fraternity vs sorority quality

exactly. There are literally sororities that fit every niche that a boy wants to party with. I.e. some are more fun, some are hotter, some are more classy, etc. Same goes for fraternities.

What the original poster is referring to is during my freshman year there use to be a big 6 in sororities and it was KD Alpha Phi Pi Phi DG and Theta and there was a top 6 in fraternities and it was Kappa Sigma Sigma Chi, Beta, Sammy, TKE and Phi Psi. These groups use to mutually exclusively only do events with each other and only paired with each other for blocks, greek week, and homecoming weeks. All 6 of those fraternities were extremely strong and you could make an argument for any of them that they were # 1 on campus. Unfortunately a bunch of those fraternities got in trouble and now you still basically have the top 6 sororities but there are noticeable drops between the top fraternities. The truth of the matter is that it is going to take a lot of time for there to be an established top group of fraternities again and you just have to be patient

so true. It's really sad how bad the administration has messed up greek life here

i think that is because GUYS tend to hang out with a greater diversity girls, and WOMEN tend to only want to hang out with a few guys.
for example pi phi, kd, dg, kappa, chiO, alpha phi, theta will all have chances to mix with the kappa sigs, phi psis, and sig chis.
i think guys just like more diversity in the girl department.
