agreed with "honest". that's the best ranking i've seen so far. it's sad that kd has dropped so much so quickly, but it's still the truth and we'd be mistaken to keep saying kd and theta were still at the very top.

Don't have to agree with everything fraternities do, but people need to try and perserve the system we have so in the future others can enjoy what we get to experience

I completely agree with you. It's sad that a fraternity was basically shut down by another person in the greek system. We all have our differences, but overall we should have eachother's back. Another fraternity will have to rise to replace the loss of beta.

so we just turn our cheek to hazing and let anyone do what they want, regardless of how much they hurt someone? I disagree. Stop drinking the kool-aid and get a (responsible) clue. Beta was useless anyway.

They're not killing kids. So they drive a few brothers around, or do a wallsit here or there? Big deal. Get a clue, AOPi, and go away.

I happen to agree with "really", and I'm most certainly not an AOPi. If the rules say no hazing, then groups that haze deserve the repercussions for breaking the rules. It's not fair to pick and chose what rules you enforce and what groups you enforce them for.

Let me say I don't condone hazing, and I just don't get it-especially the supposed "bonding" its defenders claim it brings. But wouldn't you say that selective enforcing happened here? We all know of incidents in the past year or two where we were surprised certain fraternities didn't get thrown off campus-and yet they just got slaps on the wrist/worthless probation that they pretty much ignored?

for below, then your issue really isnt with the group who supposedly reported them, it is with the office of greek life for punishing them..and their nationals.

It actually wasn't the office of greek life that punished them-- beta would've been lucky if it was just OSU that handled it because they would've gotten off a lot easier like the poster below you mentioned about the slaps on the wrist in the past. The reason beta got such a harsh punishment is just because their nationals got involved

So what exactly happened with Beta? I heard they're gone but i never heard the whole story.
