sorority comments

ranking dg 2nd and even 3rd is off. they represent VERY LITTLE of what a respectable sorority is. according to the past few rankings, i guess shallowness is more important that character???

You know, I agree with you. A lot of these houses do not represent what their founders wanted for them and their house. DG, Kappa, etc are only still toward the top because of OLD traditions. This isn't the old times anymore, people. Judge them and judge them fairly on how they are TODAY, not what they were years ago and the reputation they may have had then. It is time for some restructuring of this greek community and the real rankings should shine through. Just because you were once on top for one reason or another does not mean your spot at the top is forever there and solidified.

Take note, ladies. Your reign is over.

Someone is very bitter than the nice (and improving) girls are winning out. You aren't helping your cause Aephi/DZ

i haven't had the best experience with girls in aopi either and not because of how they look or anything..i agree that is a shallow way to judge a sorority, but when i went to open house in the fall they didn't say much about their philanthropy and while i was there i felt awkward. wasn't for me.. probably my least favorite.. i'm not going to put them as a top choice when i do formal, but others may have a different experience.

this is how i would say rankings are going into formal (no particular order within levels):

Top: theta, dg, kappa, kd and pi phi
upper middle: chi o, ddd, a phi and mayyyybe agd
lower middle: axo, fuzzie
bottom: aopi, dz and aephi

i don't mean to offend anyone- this is just my opinion. I think most people would agree

Pi Phi, Theta
Kappa, DG
KD, Chi O, AGD, A PHI
DDD, AXO, Fuzzie
AEPHI, AOPI, DZ

Ranks:

Top: Theta, Dg, Pi Phi, Kappa
Upper middle: KD AGD Chi O
