2.4 is the minimum required by PHA to go through recruitment, though individual chapters have their own minimums for new members. For example, a 2.4 might allow you to officially rush, but if chapter ABC has a requirement of 2.75 and chapter XYZ has a requirement of 3.0 then they can choose to not extend you a bid (informal recruitment) or invite you back (formal recruitment) based on gpa. A lower gpa will generally be less of an issue during informal recruitment, because the chapters have a chance to get to know you better and with less girls going through, you are less likely to be lost in the initial cuts for gpa that accompany formal recruitment in january.

from what i've seen everyone picked up some amazing girls, so congrats to all the houses and they're new members, who i'm sure are stoked, so let's be excited for them!
