quit complaining. This is the way recruitment works. I'm not even from a large house... I'm from a medium size house and I have to tell you that they aren't breaking the rules, they are doing things because they can. More girls=more money for events = more opportunities... if I were them, I'd do it too. Cap expanded, which may not be the best thing in the world but it isn't the large houses fault. Maybe you should keep girls interested in your house and they wouldn't want to go to other houses

I just did informal rush. I went to the houses I really liked 3-4 times. And the others maybe 1-2 times? I really thought I had a high chance of getting a bid. But, I didn't. I didn't get one bid from one sorority. Then when I see all the girls I rushed with-in the past week, they all got bids. One girl got 6. But, I got none. I feel so discouraged now if I rush in winter.

My house hasnt bidded a lot of the girls we were going to because we dont have grades on them yet, so if you're a transfer, make sure you have your grades turned in (!!) and if you're not a transfer, just dont get too discouraged because there literally could be a million reasons why you didnt get one yet, just wait it out and then if it doesnt happen this fall, try again in the winter and remember that houses can only take a certain number of girls in the fall, so its possible that you were the very next person on your top house's list for whatever reason, but they took all they felt comfortable with taking in the fall (it's all a numbers game).
In summary- keep going to events at the chapters that are still having them, and even if that doesnt work out, try again in the winter! There really is a sorority for everyone here.

I agree with the person below me. If you are a transfer student, you need to get your grades in! We can't give you a bid until you have..and our chapter has had the same problem. There have been several girls we love and would like to give bids to, but we can't til they turn the grades in.
So in short: Turn your grades in if you are a transfer student and voila! Also, go to more events!
