actually, lions dont hunt by severing the jugular. They suffocate the life out of their prey. So this site is more like sorority girls persuading all future PNMs that it's not worth it to rush, thereby suffocating the life out of OSU's greek system.
love, an educated Greek

that's not fair, going greek is one of the best decisions i made in college and i'm sure i'd be considered a "decent person" by most standards- honors student, grad-school bound, very active in philanthropy and service... so how about you take your sweeping (and very wrong) assumptions somewhere else. This site IS a terrible representation of greek life, but that's no reason for you to judge thousands of people you dont even know.
#1428by: re:why?
PNM:potential new member and Im thinking about joining a sorority myself, even though spring quarter is ending
does anyone know which houses are still accepting girls? Im still considering joining...
And how does it work? How do we know to go to open houses, etc?
thanks

i think that any house that's not at total (which at this point is aopi, dz, and maybe aephi CAN give bids throughout the rest of the quarter, although I dont know if they ARE. Your best bet would be to go to the PHA website, check out the chapter websites of the above houses and email either their president or their recruitment chair. They can tell you if they are holding more recruitment events for spring or if you have to wait for fall recruitment at this point since it's so late in the quarter. That's the best advice i can offer you right now. Good luck!

some houses are way better internally as far as drama. generally the "less popular ones." there are nice girls in every chapter, but there are a lot of ones that should be ashamed of themselves! every sorority does have drama externally. unfortunantley they all talk about other houses behind their backs. it doesn't mean you absolutely should not go greek, but if you are worried about drama you might want to consider other organizations on campus.
