keeping an open mind

After going through recruitment did anyone have opinion of certain houses going into rush only to change after a round or two.
For me it was pi phi I knew some older girls and knew them well and it looked like a house for me, but I had a cliche blond/dumb/empty after that it gave me a totally different perceptive and I ended up dropping them after the 2nd round. But before rush I really thought that was mostly likely the house for me.
So does the person taking you around make or break your impressions

My mind changed with KD and Alpha Phi. Going in, they were one of my favorites. With APhi, I could tell there was a lack of sisterhood. KD just got on my nerves and seemed fake. Both went to the bottom after the 2nd round.
I never thought I would fit into PiPhi and after the first round I put them at the bottom. People thought I was crazy. The girl that picked me up at the door couldn't carry on a conversation and all she did was giggle.

Last year I went through thinking KD as one of my top choices even to up to pref round and looking back I can't believe I even considered them. So bottom line watch out for the houses that show extremely well because there's a reason they're trying to suck you in. And this post has nothing to do with all the KD bashing. I just think they deceive pmn's going through and once in the greek system you see what KD really is. not sure if that's a good analysis but it is from my pt of view.

Personally, I loved Pi Phi when I went through. I was expecting to hate them, but nah....they were super cool
