I wish I could have known which houses were genuine and which ones faked it the whole time during recruitment. Last year I was between two top tier houses, and it sucked to realize on bid day that the "sisterhood" was completely fake. I'm close to a few girls, but I've considered dropping many times because of it

When I was going through, I relied too much on tent talk to get excited about certain houses rather than being excited about all houses. During the first round, I was left standing alone at one of the "top tier" houses and was very uncomfortable in another. I ended up preffing 1 top tier, 1 mid tier and one house that thinks they are top tier but really are mid tier. I got my first choice and am VERY happy where I ended up, but I didn't think this was the place for me when recruitment started.
