OK so to get in a house that's a top tier level lets say around 1,000 girls go through 2015 spring recruitment and by pref round the quota for this year is somewhere around 55 girls so breaking that down that means.....
first tier
Pi Phi and Kappa only 110 girls will make this cut, 55 for each house
-factor in 5-10 girls that are a given...legacies
-then factor in that the lame'os of the house recruitment more "L"
-a few that go under everyone's radar and somehow make it in
-then you have maybe 5-8 girls who misrepresent who they are
-then you have friends of actives so that's another 5-8 girls
-roughly only 20-30 deserving girls make it in for each house and that might even be an inflated number.
So PNM's you get the picture it's gonna be hard to get into the top two houses and then the next level is
DG and Alpha Phi
Theta and ChiO
KD and TriDelt
and so on...

This is defiantly a different perceptive but I think really accurate. After going through two recruitment, I am always amazed at those few that you have no idea how they go into your chapter....under the radar is sooo true I am really going to try to make sure very few squeak in that way in my house....good luck PNM'S

Not likely-OSU sororities are too big these days to have one "loser active" as you termed it pull you through. Perhaps that might have been a possibility 5 years ago during Fall recruitment when every house participated, but no more.
