I have a friend in Kappa she doesn't come from "Money" you can get into Kappa if you're cute, dress nice/tasteful, a personality and have good grades. If you have those qualities then you have a shot. But it will be a challenge to get a bid this year. I think Kappa will be one of the most sought after houses esp. after their new addition. so good luck and keep an open mind there are plenty of other houses that are worthy

It appears that Kappas do recruit girls that actives are friends with from their high school and it does seem most are from more affluent high schools. So if your interested in them along with all the other thousand of PNM's good luck with that

If you want to fit in Kappa then yeah you probably should come from some money. Most of them always look like they just walk out of a boutique or Nordstrom ad. so shopping a Delias or AM. eagle ain't going to cut it.
