rec letter

I have a friend from another Ohio school, in a top 5 sorority, who I can ask to write me a rec letter. Would that be at all advantageous, or since I'm non-legacy there would they look on that as weird?

Most chapters will tell you it's too late to write a rec but hey, you can try. BTW...you don't need to be a legacy to submit a rec.

There's a rec letter cut off? I know a lot of sororities the alumni can submit online - do they have an end date?

There is no cut off date per se but we've been working on all of our recs to identify the girls we want to talk to. We just won't have time for another rec after coming back from break.
